Macaw conservation project

The Hyacinth Macaw Project at Instituto Arara Azul in Brazil’s Pantanal is dedicated to protecting the world’s largest flying parrot. Through habitat restoration and nesting box installations, the project has helped increase the Hyacinth Macaw population. Combining research, community efforts, and conservation, it offers a glimpse into the vibrant blue birds’ recovery and highlights the importance of preserving the Pantanal ecosystem.
